SYNOPSIS: On an unusually warm summer break in the early 1990s, Joan Francis is sent outside to garden her new home’s large courtyard for her quarrelling parents. In the garden, she meets a standoffish, mystery girl named Evelyn Barlowe. The two girls find themselves in a circumstantial friendship under the same night sky, and come to realize just how much they deserve each other’s company and love through sharing stories that are not yet their own to tell.
